Amazing photo captures a perfect ‘moon trail’

Photographer Janne Voutilainen, 30, snapped this breathtaking photograph of a ‘moon trail’ in his native Finland.

The long exposure shot was taken over 37.6 minutes, showing the moon turning from a glowing pink to the familiar yellow.

Janne said: ‘The moon trail handily demonstrates how the moon’s colour changes upon its rise.

‘As soon I saw the preview on camera display, I was very pleased of the outcome.

‘I think this kind of photography is a good way to add some interest and educational value to a landscape picture.’
