Nowadays most of us have already at least bought an item or two off the internet. There's a big chance you've either bought it at Amazon or eBay, so which 'loyal' shopper are you? Cast your vote in the polling section.

Amazon. Have bought a few things off ebay. But mostly buy through Amazon.

I buy stuff from Mighty Ape. It's an Australian and New Zealand online store with heaps and heaps of different things to choose from.

Several years ago Ebay took a major step to combat the rising number of complaints about Auction Fraud where people would pay for items and either not get exactly what they were bidding on, or nothing at all.

What did they do?

They made it harder to register a complaint with the online service, and put the burden of proof on the buyer.

It worked. The number of complaints dropped dramatically.

Since then, I haven't bought anything from Ebay.
