American Express or Discover?

Well they are convenient. Like my brother says, When times get hard, pull out that card.
But for my family, it's a different concept.
We prefer American Express, although my dad has Discover -- with NO limit.
I think he'll go bankrupt before 45 he keeps it up. Buying $1,680 TV's.

If you want something that costs lots of money.. There is always layaway.
Good things come to those who wait.
(as in waiting until you pay off you layaway so you can get your item)..
and those good things are, no debt and bad credit.
Of course if you are filthy rich then credit card it up!
The rest of lower / middle class society should spend their money wisely. Anyone I know who has credit cards is or has been in a world of hurt.
