Amusement park ride

I have no idea what it's called but there is one at Thorpe Park in the UK with a massive drop. It's a pretty short ride but it really is fun to go on it. If there wasn't a long queue, I would happily go on it a couple of times.
I haven't been to Blackpool in years and they have several new rides since my last visit..
My favourite currently remains to be Nemesis at Alton Towers - it has been for several years.
