True anarchy is not Civilization. And any society that has been overcome by it has not survived.

Remember, even in the examples in the Free Online Encyclopedia, while the central government had lost control over the country, local authority was still in place, with the possible exception of Paris during The Terror where the entire city was essentially out of control.

I've been thinking about anarchism and realized that even if we were to create the idealistic society in which people helped each other and we weren't governed by select people, human flaws would lead us right back to where we started. Furthermore, like DrLeftover said, there will always have to be some kind of governing body... people want to be governed and our ability to do things like is what discerns us from the common animal, making us the dominant species on the planet, among other things. So I don't think anarchism is the answer, but it would be great, if it could work.

But, some times governments and people in power and control NEEDS to be overthrown for the greater cause...

Well, yes, there's no denying that.

But a Coup de'tat isn't Anarchy if the sitting government is replaced with a new one.

I don't care for any form of government. I know that anarchism would be to completely abolish the government, but I also know that won't work.
