[font=Georgia, 'Times New Roman', Times, serif][background=rgb(252, 252, 255)]One evening, I was cleaning up our family kitchen after Mom had gone to work. I brought my laptop along with me so I could listen to some songs on Youtube. One song I listened to was by our local singing group December's Children and it was (and still is) one of my favorite songs. My cat tolerated that one quite well. Then, feeling a tad nostalgic, I listened to a couple songs from Sesame Street, one of them Believe in Yourself by *NSYNC from an episode they appeared in. When the cat heard the *NSYNC one, she ran from the room. I told one of my job coaches about this and she said that animals can have their preferences as well. I almost feel like putting this to the test and see how the cat would tolerate other artists I like.[/background]

I do remember one time being on a Backstreet Boys site, where a fan claimed that every time her cat listened to the Boys, she purred. What I can't grasp is, do they really even like the song or artist, or is it them just sticking around while you're listening just to prove that they may not have a favorite, but they can at least tolerate the vocals, music, whatever?[/background]
