The two victims met Natasha N. Brady on East Market Street just after 5 p.m. Sunday to buy a PlayStation, Akron police said.

Brady, 22, of Akron, told the men to walk behind a house on Edgehill Drive, but they refused. That’s when Brady’s accomplice confronted the men, pulling out a gun and demanding their belongings.

The one victim, who has his CCW, was carrying his handgun on his hip and pulled it on the suspect. He told the robber to drop his weapon and get on the ground.

The suspect left his gun in the driveway and fled on foot. Officers recovered a PlayStation box with a brick inside and the suspect’s weapon, which turned out to be a pellet gun, from the scene.

Brady was arrested and charged with complicity to commit robbery. She was taken to the Summit County Jail. The male suspect has not been identified.

Not knowing the accomplice only had a pellet gun, I think the one victim was very lucky when he pulled his handgun. Glad it worked out in the end.
