Sometimes I wonder what will become classics with time. Any thoughts?

Harry Potter?

Harry Potter will ultimately go-down as one of the greats, and rightfully so in my opinion, because it started off merely as a great children's series but as the installments went by, it grew into something more. Truly, I'd like to think that the Dexter franchise will become lasting literature, but there's only one other book series that I can think of which has gotten a huge following recently, and yes, it's the one that you're thinking of. You know, the book series that glistens in the sunlight like a vampire does?

Here I was trying not to mention it...

I guess there's little chance of people simply losing interest?

Ultimately, people are going to lose interest eventually as the series concludes, but it left too much of a lasting impression for it to be forogotten unfortunately. It clicked with readers the same way that Harry Potter did, and the movies have merely qualdrupled the popularity.
