I'm personally a tomboy. I love to play with boys' stuff, and dress like a boy/man to avoid unwanted romantic attraction and to hide the fact that I'm very attractive woman (to many men at least saying so). What about you? Are you a tomboy/crossdress or not for you personally?

I would not say that I'm a crossdresser, but I do like to wear jeans; notsomuch to hide what sex I am, just because they're comfy & "kool". So, sort of a tomboy. I liked playing with some boy-stuff when I was a kid. (maybe just because I liked playing with the boys )
I have also been employed in a traditionally men's occupation.

Nope, I am not either of those.

No. That's not my cup of tea.

Do you find male clothes or female clothes more comfortable?
Sort of 50/50, I'm comfortable in mens clothing because I have to be at times, but I'm comfortable in women's clothing because...well...it's comfortable :) They don't exactly make bras for men, so...women win that one, and on the underwear side I dare you to find me something better feeling than a pair of panties... :D

Fair enough. :P

I won't miss mens clothing when I no longer need to pretend to be one at times, but there are some upsides, like pockets.

I know a lot of women who prefer mens clothing. Its easier for them to "go both ways" in terms of fashion I suppose.

Yeah, absolutely, and I can understand it, looser fitting, pockets, some of it's comfortable. I definitely get it, but...I guess it's a mental thing with me. 34 years of HAVING to be confined to male clothing, I'm ready for that to be a thing of the past and to be ok exploring my real self and my real sense of fashion.

But the last 16 years (since becoming an adult at age 18) you technically could have been doing whatever you wanted? ...since you chose to stay with parents that felt like it wasn't an option though?

No. I moved away, had a career and was so paralyzed with fear that I never did come out because I was scared of losing it all. Then my mother took a turn, I quit my job, moved back home and even after knowing what I needed to do for my own mental health, I couldn't live openly because of the bigotry that exists within my family. So I lived my double-life, and did what I could to enjoy being me as much as I could within the confines of that life.

We all want to write our own reviews.

I used to be more of a tomboy. I would wear baggy shirts and jeans, skater shoes, etc. Now I dress more like...I dunno, Audrey Hepburn? I like all black. It's a good staple. I like a very classic look that is versatile and I'm not big on bright colors.
