I have seen the 1st one in theatres pre-covid when it has been airing in cinemas and I have loved it all personally. I can't wait for it to come on Disney Plus so I could watch it in the comforts of my own home. Currently, it's airing in select theatres only around where I live, but I'm excited to see it at home on Disney Plus! What about you? Have you ever seen them (1 and/or 2) yet or not personally? And if so, do you enjoy it or not in your case?

I thought it was okay. I liked James Cameron's older classics such as Aliens and Terminator.

I'm not sure I want to sit through 3 hours of blue people. I would rather watch The Smurfs!

But he is an awesome director. And it's amazing that it was done in New Zealand.

When I first saw Avatar, I thought it was really good. Then the novelty of the impressive visuals wore off and I realized the story of that movie is just okay and basically boils down to Pocahontas in space. Honestly I think the first movie was carried by its visuals and how well it did 3D, rather than by how good the actual writing of the movie is. That's not to say I think the movie is bad, it's certainly entertaining, but just not something I found myself wanting to watch again once the fresh car smell, a.k.a. the visuals, wore off.
