Title is saying it all. Did anyone here tried or did Insanity? If so, what's your feedback and experience?

:|My brother tried it out. Within 36 hours he gave it away. I think the levels were too much for him to bear. He felt dizzy and disoriented after several levels. But wouldnt go into specifics. im guessing he didnt consult a doctor first. maybe youll do fine. everybody has different tolerance levels ya know?

It is truly insane and you let out a lot of sweat during it. But I will keep going as far as I can, it seems like it really does a difference.

I'm always looking for a better way to exercise, Madi, but I have to be careful. With my busted up body I can't do a lot of the things I used to be able to do.
Can you describe how Insanity works a bit for me? Post a link that will describe it, something like that, please?

The best I could find is the website that sells Insanity. Here it is:

http://www.beachbody.com/product/fitness_programs/insanity.do

The description there is pretty much telling everything about this insane workout. It is really hard to do, but I can link other workouts that are less intense still would do amazing results, but requiring a gym membership though. Tell me if interested, buddy.

I've got a couple gyms around me and my ol' man and I have been talking about me joining one. We have to consider our finances, so we should hold off you going to all the trouble of describing something like that until I know for sure if a gym membership is a go.

You speak as if you work out HARD. Are you a hard-body kinda guy? I ask because, as I mentioned, I was seriously beat to shit in a motorcycle wreck back in '06 and tough physical activity is really hard on me. Pisses me off, too because before the wreck I worked as a bartender and long work days never sitting down and hauling cases and kegs of beer kept me in great shape. I'm trying to lose about 7 - 10 more pounds in as gentle a manner as I can. If I reinjure myself I stand the chance of not walking again. So you can see, my workout has to be fairly tame.

Oh I am sorry to know that. Well, I am not a hard trainer by any means, but I can go insane in workout for a long time before I get tired. However, my fitness dropped back harshly during the past-college days and I restored a little bit of it in the army days. Now I am working on getting back my six pack abs.

For losing 7-10 pounds, I'd recommend you go jogging daily for 30 days for 15-20 minutes minimum. That along with some healthy nutrition guide (I can pm you a decent one), you would lose weight easily.

However, be informed that food+training = Good body. If you go jogging for even 10 hours and then you go back eat a full-of-fat meal, then you have did nothing. Food is half of the equation, training is the second.
