Not like there was oil on the track as there wasn't anyone right in front of him. Maybe he got a little tap from the car behind, but then touring cars would only go off like that at some speed, on a practise lap you'd think a slight tap/nudge would just wobble the car.



Perhaps something went wrong with the steering. That is indeed very odd.
