Are women more emotional than men?

I am aware of nervous laughter and can usually spot it. I also am guilty of doing it myself sometimes, although I try not to because of how people might misconstrue me laughing.

My daughter does it when she's in trouble. She says she does it because she's both nervous and embarrassed.

I find it to be a healthier way of coping with stress than to break down into tears.

I think women are better at letting out their emotions and asking for help than we are.

And maybe not all, for sure.

But I know from experience, I am bad at telling anyone when I'm upset. I'll hold it in.

Of course, I know some women are the same way. But for the ones who are emotional, they're better at letting it out than I am.
