Do you think that some leftovers don't taste as good once they've been left sitting in the fridge for awhile?

Yes, some things are not good; but most things are WONDERFUL.
In fact that's what we had for dinner tonite. Leftover lentils with a side of leftover pizza.

I got some good tupperwares now so I am less afraid to eat leftovers these days. I am often surprised at how fresh things stay in these new tupperwares.

Truly depends what it is. If it's chili or some kind of a soup then sure. Same with like taco meat leftover.

This is why I also try not to make a bunch of food to have any left over. If it's something I know is good reheated and warmed up, then I'd maybe make extra. I always reheat and warm like the sausage gravy. I can eat canned sausage gravy, not my favorite.

I try to plan for leftovers to spread a meal out over several days... it's cost efficient. but not everything is better as leftovers...
Lentil soup, pea soup, these make great mutli-day meals because you can change it up by adding ingredients for very little.

I always throw leftovers away. always. there is a lot of food waste in my house..

Not at all, I rarely if ever eat leftovers. I know some foods can taste decent re-heated, but I prefer a fresh meal.

.....just kidding :P

Any kind of soup is great as leftovers. I could go for some soup right now. :D
