I am overweight but most of it is muscle (seriously) as I am a rugby player. I have a friend who is underweight though so it looks funny when we stand next to each other, so, are you overweight, underweight or average?

I'm average I should say (as I have a BMI of 24). While I may be slim, I still have some fat in my body that I'm trying to trim down.

I am at my ideal weight for my height and build. In answer to the OP question, that would put me at perfect but I don't see that as an option choice.

Found this for members who don't know how much they should weigh:

If you are wondering how much should I weigh, use our Ideal Body Weight Calculator to find our your ideal body weight for your height and built. Just enter your gender (women / men), height and built, and the weight calculator will calculate your ideal body weight for height. The body weight is provided in pounds as well as Kilograms.

I'm underweight according to the calculator, but I'd say I'm average.

I did an article on the BMI several years ago about how it wasn't worth the electrons it takes to calculate it.

Most people have heard of Lou Ferrigno, the original Incredible Hulk.

At the time I was approximately Mr. Ferrigno's height, 6'4, his weight, more or less 275, and about his age.

Which would give us both the exact same BMI.

Except for one problem. He was still doing body building appearances. He had NO appreciable body fat on him, anywhere.

Something I couldn't say then, and still can't as I've picked up a few pounds.

But according to the BMI, we were both obese.

Sure, I am. Him, you tell him.

Here's the article: http://themediadesk.com/files2/bmi.htm

According to that calculator I'm underweight, but I have a small beer belly so I'd say slightly overweight.

I'm slightly overweight, trying to sort that out though

I am overweight for my height. I've already lost a stone and I am looking to losing another.

My normal is around 150 pounds, give or take, I range between 142 to 152...

[font=tahoma, geneva, sans-serif]May I ask how tall you are?

I would consider myself overweight. I could definitely benefit losing a few pounds.

I'd say maybe underweight. I don't weigh much however I have gained some pounds.

I am overweight at the moment. Even though I have managed to lose 62 lbs in the past 6 months. Hitting the gym daily...

I am overweight and intend to loose two stones i got soem diet pills from the doctor that do not work so i guess i just need more exercise and less sugar .I do have a sweet tooth...

My weight was 187lbs three months before and my current weight is 172 lbs and I am still overweight.I am still trying to reduce my weight and hope after three months I'll come under normal weight section..!!

I'm underweight, but in pretty good health. I don't put on much weight, despite how much I eat. Sadly, this means I'm hungry every few hours.

Underweight. Although healthy, I'm still a bit underweight for my age. Or maybe I think myself to be, coz of the other overweight guys of ma age.

Over but not for long going on an extreme diet next week
