I don't think I would be. I know I am, even though I don't like to brag.
For example, my neighbor's house was on fire once, and I helped him extinguish the fire before it got out of hand. There wasn't even a need to call the firemen. Only the people from a power company came to assess the damage, since the fire was started by an old electrical installations, specifically the main breaker fuse that failed to react to overload and didn't shut the power off, but bursted into flames instead.

Every call we go on, I have seconds to asses the situation, prioritize what needs to be done first and take immediate action. Every second counts and can be the difference between saving a life or losing one.
