My father went through a QVC phase a few years ago.
During our recent transition and the Four Family "musical house" moves, we inherited a whole slew of those things.
Cooking gadgets, some sort of interchangeable cordless yard thing, a drill 'adapter', and so on.
So far, NONE of them have done anything they were advertised, but I have found uses for a couple of them.
Such as: the idiot defrosting mat has found a use in the camper to stop the stove from rattling when on the road.
