Aside from content, how do you promote a new site?

I understand that the primary thing I need for a new site is content. I understand that. I'm using blogger and have only 3 enteries. But aside from content, what do you recommend (that I do) to promote my new blog? It's a blog about mental health.

I lost it because I couldn't afford the hosting to renew my site under hawkhost, so the site basically was deleted.

It's a blog about mental health.

I would suggest you visit other forums and blogs that deal only with mental health and advertise on them. Since this is a one genre blog I doubt advertising on a bunch of general discussion forums is going to get the traffic you need to keep this blog alive.

I'm going too have to agree with everyone here. Just keep advertising. Put links too it in your sigs on other sites. Stuff like that.
