Have you ran into people on forums who will say/do ANYTHING for attention. Weather it be fishing for a compliment or just creating a bunch of drama/fights... Negative or positive it doesnt matter....

You're absolutely right. They love to get some kind of comment.... even if it's a comment like I am totally ignoring you

You know--I've heard a lot of people say that someone came on their forum and said someone in their family committed suicide.

Why would people want to make something like that up? It's pretty lame in my opinion.

There is a difference between a troll and an attention seeker..

Trolls are purposely trying to stir up trouble and attention seekers dont realize what they are doing usually.

I admit that I'm a major attention-whore. But seriously, I know this girl, EVERY SINGLE DAY something dramatic happens to her. Everyone hates her and bitches about her in the staff forum. Fun fun. Also anyone who threatens suicide. I want to stab them, help them out with it, you know.

There is always a major crisis in their life--doesn't matter what it is. From a broken nail to the death of a member of the family. They insist on putting their whole life out there and generating sympathy from it.

I've had my share of those people. I just choose to ignore them. They'll get bored and go to another forum and bug some one else.
