Axolotls

I love Axolotls! They're cute amphibians that are closely related to tiger salamanders, though they prefer to stay underwater more than being on land. I would love to own one of them, however they can be difficult to take care of properly. The pokemon Wooper is based on a Axolotl if you weren't aware. They sadly were near extinction a few years ago and are listed under the Critically Endangered species list. Have you ever owned a Axolotl before or knew someone who did?

I used to have one but it passed away because it kept eating the aquarium gravel. Was a cute little guy though.

axolotls are adorableI i'd love to get one or two. they are so fascinating, especially that they regrow entire limbs! too cool.
