Back in school?

For those members who are still in school,

Are you back to school yet? When is/was your 1st day?

My first day back is in about three weeks.

The summer went by fast.

All the school districts around here started already like a week ago (earlier than normal). They want to get start in August and get out in May instead of Sept / June for some reason.

That actually sounds like a good plan.

I personally dislike getting out so late here (June 22nd earliest usually) August is not a bad time to start school. I give those school districts my kudos for whatever reason they decided to do that.

I'm not back in school yet, i have 2 more weeks of summer vocation

Some districts here started last week.



Most this coming week.



There is at least one that doesn't go back until after Labor Day.



The only reason I notice is that I end up behind buses on my way to work.

School actually just started this Thursday for me, the day wasn't particularly horrible however, it was the first day of high-school and I came to the realization of what exactly the teachers were talking about when they warned us that high-school would be more difficult than the years before. It isn't a matter of harder work by any means more along the lines of more work. However, I spent three hours today working on one paper and I believe I am going to have to do these daily which will be hell.

I went back last monday.. a week earlier than usual.



Last night I had a dream that I finished 10th grade, and at the end I was like this year just blew by lol

Just saw in the newspaper that school starts here September 7.

I go back on September 6th. We have 2 days of meetings before the kids come back on Weds., Sept. 8th.
