Have you ever had any bad experiences at the movies?

A lot of the time people will talk throughout the whole thing or use their phones flash or just use their phone and the light will really annoy me.

I've once been in a cinema and the fire alarm has gone off but at least I got a refund even though the movie was 3/4 finished.

One other time the sound kept cutting out so I let management know and got a few movie tickets for the issues.

Several times. The worst one being back in 2015 with my ex wife. These middle school tweens wouldn't shut up. They were giggling and saying stupid things the whole time. I shushed them only to get insults thrown in my direction. In fact they did it more. I went to management twice and a rep came in and talked to them and told them to be quiet. That didn't work, so the third time we got up, got refunded, and then left. I heard later from a guy that worked there that they kicked them out.

One time I went to see one of the Hobbit movies (I forget which one exactly). About 30 minutes into the movie the picture went funky. Half the screen was tinted red. They tried to fix it for a few minutes but ended up cancelling the rest of that screening. Everyone in the theatre got vouchers for a free movie.

It's been a while since I've been to the cinema, but as far as I can remember, I haven't had any bad experiences

I went to see the lion, the witch, and the wardrobe

half way through the film, all the alarms went off and we had to evacuate in to the pouring rain

the source of the alarms was a exploding popcorn machine, and we never got to see the rest of the movie, or got tickets, we just got soaked

also when I went to see the first Downton abby movie, I asked the woman behind the counter for a large dr pepper

she looked at me over the counter, and then said I think that should be a small, don't you?

and I said no, not really, I'm okay with the large
