When you were/are at school were there any teachers that seemed to hate/dislike you? Why do you think they did?

I think about 50% of them, French teachers in particular... Probably because I hated being there and never cooperated. All my homework was handed in late, tests were bad, etc etc. But they were never able to make me fail my year, which greatly annoyed them.
