What is one thing you badly want right now?

A new used van or truck.

Something that has both ends of all of the springs and shocks attached to the vehicle in the rear.

One where it doesn't take three days to get the driver's window to go back up if it is rolled more than halfway down.

One WITHOUT a waterfall inside the windshield on the passenger side.

Something that on any given morning has FOUR fully inflated tires, not two and a half.

A mode of motor transportation that WILL START when it is below freezing outside. And no, with what I have now, if it has been below freezing for more than 24 hours, trying to jumpstart it is a pointless waste of perfectly good electrons. Something inside the van's engine compartment or under the dash, freezes, and no matter what you do, it is not going to cooperate until it warms up.

Something where the tailgate will open WITHOUT various contortions and a prayer to Saint Frances of Rome (patron of cars and drivers). And then, it will shut AND STAY SHUT while the van is in motion! (minus a bungee cord)

One that the side door will open AND SHUT minus the use of violence.

Think: Heater AND Air Conditioner that Heat and Cool!

I like driving vehicles with personality, but there's a point where ENOUGH is ENOUGH.

It was said of former President Theodore Roosevelt that after going out to dinner with the Ex-Pres that his guests would go home and "wring the personality out of their clothes".

We're there.

It's coming up on 16 years old. It's only got 90,000 miles on it, but it's done.

A two week vacation! Have to wait, however, until August to put in a vacation request. :(

1 my car fixed
2 my house all fixed up
3 more money in the bank
4 mortgage paid off
5 flu gone :)

That's too much to ask...,

What's wrong with your house? Outdated electrical wiring? Dripping faucets? Shoddy masonry work? Leaky roof? Old paint peeling itself off the walls? I don't think there's a single thing involving house maintenance I haven't done myself at some point. :unsure2: I particularly dislike dripping faucets. I mean, come on! I just gave you a brand new washer and you're still dripping?!

Do your floors get mood swings? 'Cause, if they do, you might be a proud owner of the floors that tend to take a ride on an emotional roller coaster. ;) :P
