What types of bank accounts do you have?

Checking? Savings? etc..

Do you have a debit card? Checks with puppy dogs on them?

Does your bank charge lots of fees for things?

I have a savings account which is hooked up to paypal.

I have an account where I just draw cash out of an ATM. Am going to look at getting a credit card soon, but I will only be using it for Headbangers Haven.

I have a checking account.

I have direct deposit on my account. Which means I dont have to worry about getting my pay check every month and going to cash it, it automatically gets deposited into my account. They send me a check stub / receipt type thing though.

I just found out they have something at my bank called Direct Deposit Advance which allows me to pull out money I dont have but they charge $2 per $20 pulled out. So if I had no money in my account, I could get an advance for $500 but $550 would be paid back when my paycheck finally gets deposited. Seems a little pricey but its good to know that its there in case I ever get in a jam.

I rarely write checks. Usually just two a month. Rent and Child Support. Everything else is online or I call a number and enter my debit card number.

My checks are just standard looking. No designs or anything. I dont really care what they look like. A box of checks can last me about 4 or 5 years.

My debit card is a Visa Check Card or something like that. It works like a credit card and I can use it wherever credit cards are accepted or I can use it as a straight debit card. Sometimes when I go to stores they ask me Debit or Credit before they swipe my card. I usually say Credit because that is free and for some reason they usually charge a fee to use debit. Comes in handy online as well. I prefer to use paypal (which is connected to my bank account) though because I dont have to enter in my person info.

I don't have a bank.

I do have a debit card though, from work.

We have a checking account....standard lt blue-ish checks (they look a lot like the color of the Off Topix default skin, actually)

And no credit cards or debit. Although one would be nice.

I wish my work offered direct deposit, the boss says that's too much trouble--although he just doesn't want to do it. (He doesn't offer direct deposit for any of his employees)

I pay my internet and satellite online.

House payment and electric are e-check.

insurance is auto withdrawal.

I use checks for groceries, walmart, and gas.....

savings

cheqing

saving plus interest.

I use President's Choice Banking, there are absolutely no fees whatsoever.

Cheques are mailed free of charge as well, you just keep the photo-copy.

You can do anything right over the phone from opening accounts to applying for a mortgage.

I got fed up with banking as years ago I was charged roughly 20.00 a month for various fees.

I don't remember when the last time I was even in a bank.

None yet, but I kind of know what goes on around our house. My parents have checking, barely anything in savings. Brother is out of school and works a full time job and goes to college, so he has a checking, but mainly stores all his cash in his savings. My sister has a part-time job, so she has checking and savings. She puts 2/3 of her paycheck in her savings, and 1/3 of it in her checking for whenever she wants to spend some dough. My sister also has a debit card. The checks my parents use have Christian bible verses on them.

Checking and Savings accounts. One of each.

I have a Debit Plus card, which basically is a debit card with credit card like abilities - ie, online ones.

Ive never seen any debit card from any bank that DIDN'T have a visa or mastercard logo on it.

Really? Here it's pretty rare to find one with one on it.

Well maybe for people under 18. They might get a standard bank card I think..
