When Coca-Cola offered the first retail coupon in the 1880s customers were thrilled. But today's shoppers see sales and discounts as the norm, not the exception.

What about you? Do you always look for the best deal? Try to save money all you can?
Do you use coupons?

Coupons?

Well I do try to save money where I can,for example I wanted to buy a certain jacket which was 270 euros...I decided to wait 2 months and got it for 70 euros.

Yes, I am looking for the best deal especially when it comes to food for my animals. I found that Pet Smart (a local pet store) is way more expensive than me ordering the items online. I use a site that if I buy $49.99 worth of items, they charge no tax and the shipping is free.

Office supplies I get at Staples. I have a business rewards card. For every $75 I spend, I get a credit of $5. Those credits add up and last time I had $120 worth of credits to be used for my next order.

Usually results in buying stuff from Amazon.co.uk or Amazon.de. They're usually cheaper even with shipping costs.

I don't really use coupons that much unless its to a place to go eat with my babe. Neither of us minds going on a cheap date.

Yea, I always try to get items that are on offer or the cheaper options. 2 for 1 deals etc.
I also use coupons and vouchers if I have them.

I don't think people consider discounts to be a necessity, it's just that it seems like everything costs more these days.

It doesn't seem like it, they really do cost more. Prices of things keep going up and up and my paycheck seems to go down every year because of insurance and taxes and whatnot.

I try and save money as much as a I can and get those good deals, but sometimes I don't care either.

Do I use coupons? No, not really.
