Which would you rather be good at? Writing or giving speeches?

I prefer writing. I'm a bit shy, and I tend to ramble...even when I'm writing. But at least if I'm writing, I can take a step back, review what I wrote and tweak it. I can't do that verbally, and sometimes, I can't think of the correct words to use on the fly.

It’s hard to choose :unsure:because both are important in their own way.

Writing is great for sharing detailed ideas and creating lasting content.

Giving speeches is perfect for making a quick impact and engaging with people directly.

I'm already a decent writer (fanfics), so speaking. I am very awkward and fumble a lot with talking out loud.

Giving speeches. I get nervous around big crowds. I think I am manageable as far as writing so yeah.

Definitely writing. I'm terrible at public speaking.

Hmmm. I have a pretty good track record in both (I have won some writing comps with my fiction and my essays in schools were usually A-worthy; when I was a lay preacher in a Unitarian Universalist church, my sermons generally got praise) but at this stage of my life, I think my writing is the one I would rather improve.

I'd rather be good at writing; do not like or feel comfortable with public speaking.
