I’m personally a great collector of beautiful tea ware and dish ware. I have both Asian and Western ones. My most favourite one from the West is Royal Albert. Mine has been gifted to me personally by my passed away aunt. I have a Chinese one with a beautiful golden Chinese phoenix and dragon on it, also inherited from my passed away grandma by my father’s side. My whole family have a passion for art, fine China and tea ware and dinner ware. I do only use them for company and special occasions.

My mother had old Franciscan Desert Rose dinnerware when I was growing up. She did not have a whole set, but some really nice pieces that she got then they lived in Southern California, before I was even born.
Over the years, I found more pieces , and I really love these dishes. My husband made me a china cabinet, so I finally have a nice place to keep them and where I can look at them every day,
Even though I seldom actually use them. Just looking at the Franciscan reminds me of my mother.
