What is the absolute best acting performance (male or female) that you have ever seen in a movie/TV show?

mmm, Bruce Lee, Jet Lee, Ip-man, arnold swarchenegger, Paul walker and much more :P

I agree with Sir Anthony, no problem.

I disagree about Bruce Lee, however, because, I'm not sure he was Acting!

For, best individual performance in a movie I would nominate Ricardo Montalban as Khan Singh in "the Wrath of Khan" from the Star Trek movie series.

Oh, yeah, we forgot one:

But he may not have been 'acting' either.

Jack Nicholson especially in The Shining and One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest.

Well then, what say you we look at the Ladies of the Silver Screen.

I'll go first and set the bar really high.

Bruce Lee was also something of a philosopher:

"A wise man can learn more from a foolish question than a fool can learn from a wise answer."
- Bruce Lee (1940 - 1973)

How about this lady doing that thing on that boat with that guy...

NO, the OTHER lady on the OTHER boat with the OTHER guy.
