Best PS1 game?

Another one, this time for another console.

What is the best PS1 game in your opinion?

For me it has to be Crash Bandicoot.

I used to play Sim City 2000 (or 3000, not sure the number) endlessly all the time.

Grandia, or Master of Monsters: Disciples of Gaia. Grandia was probably one of the first RPGs I played, so I really have a soft spot for it (as well as the sequel). MoM is just amazing, I picked it up cheap when I was a kid and it was just such a cool premise. You were a boy whose village is destroyed, and a god/goddess of your choice comes down and gives you the power to fight your oppressors, by way of summoning demons to fight them.

Final Fantasy 7 was pretty cool back when I first played it.

Hard to say! I really liked some of the Final Fantasy games on the PS1 not to mention Bloody Roar!
