In light of the worst teacher thread, some of us had to have good teachers (I hope)! Here's where you can talk about the good teachers you had throughout your school career.

Hmm :| Maybe my 5th grade teacher. She was very enthusiastic and lively. She made learning fun. Turning some lessons into games and making sure everyone was involved. The things she taught stuck in my head and I remembered things she said. :)

Here's a couple:

Tenth grade English teacher - She was very much involved in our learning, encouraging us to get up and 'perform' the plays as opposed to reading them out loud or to ourselves. In hindsight, I can see now that I should have participated more. She would never force the kids who were too shy to do any serious acting, but rather let them read narrator parts, etc. There were costumes to wear and props to use, and it was very fun watching the other kids perform who weren't afraid to do so.

Spanish professor "Profe Ian Reeves" - He was sooo, sooo funny and such a nice young guy. I walked into that classroom with a smile on my face all the time, and walked right out with just as big a smile. He was very much interactive with all of us, made learning Spanish easy, and he told the greatest stories. We all got Spanish names and were referred to as such. I think I was presidente, but I can't remember. One time, he told this student that he'd give him a piece of cake if he stopped talking the entire class. This kid, Michael I think his name was, would yap on and on, and he actually did it. It was difficult, but he did it.

I had a creative writing teacher who taught the class very well, gave us great material and had us do a lot of group and individual writing. The way we learned in that class stuck with me for a long time, and I'm pretty sure I still have the notebook somewhere knowing I'd love to look back on my writing later in life. He told me this, and it'll always stick with me: "There are two kinds of people in this world: Those who can write, and those who can write, and you're the second one."

I'm sure there's more, but I'll come back and post again!
