Do you ever bet on sporting events?

If so, ever lost a significant amount of money? Every won a bunch of money?

Do you always break even?

My dad bets on stuff all the time. No wonder he has nothing.

I do with a coworker on Canucks and Leaf games. I go for Canucks -- He for Leafs.

Oh and for the record-- small bets $5/game.

I only bet once a year on the Grand National... I usually lose though

When I turn 18 though I'll probably bet occasionally.

Oh I love that, especially since most of my dear gamer friends are male. Actually they all are. So they chuck a hissy fit every time I win anything. It's almost dangerous to win, due to the in real life physical pain you have to endure. We don't bet money, just that the person who loses has to go get pizza and the person who wins doesn't have to do anything. Or the last can of Mother, and who gets it. We only bet when there's something that we need deciding over. (But there's still paper scissors rock...)



Me and my sister do a lot of 10 cent bets, we never give the other any money, because we know we'll drop spare change on the bathroom floor.

I've made bets before, but usually not with cash. One time, me and my brother were watching a game of football at the beach, and he said that if his team won, he would get to sit in the front on the way home, but if my team won I would get to sit in the front seat on the way home. (7 1/2 Hour Drive!) He won, but I was fine sitting in the back.

As far as money goes, I'll usually bet up to $5, but I'm not that big on betting with money, because I tend to lose..
