Big scams

In New Zealand mostly in Christchurch anyone.... because of the earthquakes people go to different houses to get information or money acting like a company asking for donations etc. Big no no anymore though and usually if people do it they will have a free chance of going in the slammer depending on what judge says.

ANYONE calling and asking for private information over the phone without you prompting it. If you don't know what's going on, haven't scheduled an appointment, or have no outstanding issues with anything like banking or medical situations, never ever give your private information over the phone or to someone who comes to your door who cannot provide adequate identification (and who hasn't come without a scheduled appointment).
