Who has been the biggest influence in your life and why? My dad. He was more than just a dad. He was my best friend. We did everything together. He taught me never to say I couldn't do something. He told me I could do anything if I didn't give up. He told me to always follow my dreams and if I worked real hard, my dreams would come true. My dream came true the day I graduated and took the oath as a Paramedic.
Is that person still around? Sadly no. Cancer took him away from me.
Do they know they had such an impact on you? He wasn't there when I graduated. Well not in person but I believe he was there in spirit.

I'd have to say my mom. She had nothing and always was able to make something happen. She was a strong person and managed to get through college while raising two teenagers and dealing with her own physical / emotional problems. Not sure if she knew she was inspiration to me, but she knew I loved her.
