Anyone play Pool? I love it, despite sucking at it. I tend to play online pool more often. Regardless of actually playing it or playing it online, I love it.

I'm waaaaay better than virtual pool than real life pool... But playing pool in real life is fun sometimes, against someone who is as bad as me at it.

My grandpa had a pool hall. I learned how to play when I was 6 years old. He taught me to do 'trick' shots as well. I play whenever I can at the local pub. I pretend I don't really know how to play and then clean the table when it's my turn.

Do you play for money?

No. We play for table time. The winner keeps getting to play. The place (Pub) sometimes is so crowded, you can wait hours for a person to lose and then you're number is picked. Once I win, I'm there at the table for the night. Haven't lost a game yet and don't intend to either.

We don't have any tournaments in my area. There was a big one in Canada but I really didn't want to go through all that boarder crossing traffic. Maybe one day they'll decide to come here and hold one.

Same. XD I actually prefer virtual pool. It seems a bit easier. Though, depending on the site you play it on, the game could troll you.

I often just play myself now, cause none of the guys will play with me anymore. They just can't stand losing to me. lol.

It's a shame they won't play with you even if they will just lose all the time though I would think it would lose its appeal to play with someone who you don't expect to ever see win. I don't know how to play and would probably just be terrible at it. I can't say I have had many opportunities to play actual pool though.
