Black police officer responds to ‘white supremacist’ in the best way possible

Treating your enemies with kindness and compassion can often be a lot more effective than stooping down to the level of their bigoted, hateful rhetoric.

And that’s exactly what this black police officer did – when he helped a white supremacist who suffered from heat exhaustion during a rally at the South Carolina state house.

In the picture, the officer can be seen offering a steadying hand to the supremacist – who appears to be wearing a t shirt emblazoned with a swastika.

The touching snap was posted on Reddit, and users were quick to praise the officer’s caring attitude.

‘This is how you beat racism, slowly, with grace. Not by banning the right to say hateful things but by proving them wrong’, one user wrote.

‘You utterly destroy an enemy when you make them your friend’, another rightfully added.

I have to agree w/the article's perspective here; if there's any LEO's are taught, its' to treat everyone they come across w/a modicum of respect...even if the person opposite them may absolutely hate your fricken' guts.

In other words, this ain't "staged"...
