Jaime Reyes suddenly finds himself in possession of an ancient relic of alien biotechnology called the Scarab. When the Scarab chooses Jaime to be its symbiotic host, he's bestowed with an incredible suit of armor that's capable of extraordinary and unpredictable powers, forever changing his destiny as he becomes the superhero Blue Beetle.

Thoughts?

I saw the trailer and I don't know how I feel about this one.

I think it looks cool, DC needs to make more movies to compete with marvel.

I watch everything DC (well.. I still haven't seen Shazam 2 yet) so I'll check it out, not what I'm most excited for though.

Most excited to see George Lopez haha

I just watched this & thoroughly enjoyed it! It's received a lot of backlash for being kind of generic and in some regard I do agree, it doesn't have all of the fancy thrills of typical DC movies in the past but that's OK it was really good for what it is. I loved the family-focused plot, you actually got to know all of the characters to some extent and the family really is adorable, it was awesome that they all played a part and it wasn't just Jaime having to figure everything out. And at least the ending set it up for a sequel, I really think the action will get amped up and I'm excited for that, hoping they do continue it for the big screen. Also, I think Xolo is just perfect for the role. His and George Lopez's interactions with their characters are gold. Honestly, it was refreshing to see DC do comedy right.

Saw it last night and loved it. Susan Sarandon as awesome as ever!

I loved the Grandmother!
