Have you ever let someone borrow something and they never gave it back?



Just today, I let a friend borrow a pencil, because they needed one, and I was going to ask for it back after that class, but I have them next class too, so he'll need it then as well. Anyways, I forgot to get it back but since he was borrowing it I just stopped worrying about it and noticed I was a pencil short today when I came home. I don't mind lending people stuff, but if they don't give it back it's frustrating. It's not just one pencil, I've lent out a lot of pencils in the past, and I've lost about that many.

and some have never given me back what they have borrowed.

My thing is that I don't mind lending stuff out, as long as you give it back. I shouldn't have to hunt you down or ask you for it, just give it back when you're done using it. It's even okay if they forget to give it back, but if you forget to give it back and then the next day you lost it, you'll be asking me or someone else for a pencil. Just a continuous cycle of lending and wasting.

exactly my point as well, I find sometimes I have to then worry about getting it back.



I used to loan tons of pens at work..never got one back.

Yeah. Maybe 15 years ago. My gameboy with like 10 games and some other accessories..

He lost it (it was all kept together in a bag) and couldn't afford to replace it.



So he let me punch him in the face and he gave me his super nintendo with 5 games.

Ehh, I'm really not a fan of lending out stuff because usually i never get it back. And it just pisses me off a lot.

I've lent stuff out but my freinds are quite reliable and give stuff back. I don't like giving stuff out to strangers, not that anyones asked me for stuff.

I only lend stuff to my closest friends and family, I will not lend to Random people.

Done so before and learnt my lesson. I let a highschool friend borrow some cds... never got them back.



Now if friends want to borrow my cds I burn them a copy.

I let some borrow my game a year later I still don't have it.

Yes I will lend someone something but if I don't get it returned, I will hunt them down until I get it back or they pay me to replace it.
