It happens when you drink/eat something cold too fast. Also known as an ice cream headache and some other things.

I was drinking a Slushy a few minutes ago and I had a massive brain freeze attack. It was painful.

Ever get those?

Yes, I used to a lot. I'm a bit smarter now--I don't drink so fast.....

Yeah but even drinking it slow can cause it sometimes.

I get this occasionally when I'm drinking a really cold drink... though it doesn't really hurt that much or is that serious.

I do the opposite. I don't care. I like pain. I'm emo.

Nah, only time I have them is when I drink Burger King's Coke Icy's, but I haven't had one in forever. I need to go get one of those some time soon before it gets too cold to have one. Also, if I drink water in the winter or if I'm really cold myself, I'll sometimes get them.

I get them all the time! I do everything overly fast. I eat too fast, talk too fast, type too fast, walk too fast...

Ah a trick I learnt is that you pull your top lip. Like you hold your top lip at the crease thing, and just tug at it until the brain freeze...melts?

It works as long as you believe in it.

Just like the time I told my little cousin I had magic water and rubbed it on his elbow, it made him stop crying.
