People say that bravery is being scared of doing something and doing it anyway.

Do you agree?

Do you consider yourself to be a brave person? What have you done in your life that was brave?

Depends on the situation. Would you call someone doing a stupid stunt or a foolish act bravery because they were scared and did it anyway?

What have I done that was brave? :| I get up every morning and face this cruel world with a smile on my face and a positive attitude.

Bravery is doing something necessary even when you're terrified of it. Not a stupid stunt or anything like that, more rescuing someone from a burning building, taking down an armed assailant, standing up to a bully, going to a doctor when you know something truly terrible is wrong. That's bravery.

I am not brave.

How'd you get so insightful?

I'm not the least bit brave seeing as I rarely if ever take any type of risks in life.

I used to beat myself up when I was younger. Because I used to blush easily. And get nervous, even break out in hives. And get shaky or sweaty. But, I wanted to do things and I did . I did things anyway. It did not stop me. But, i spent YEARS beating myself in my mind, oh I shouldn't not have looked or sounded so nervous. Then there were the "Never Let them See You Sweat" type confidence commercials. Well, I didn't have confidence but I had some moxy and desire to do and try things so I did And finally, I realized that it too more to "do it afraid" than it does for the cocky people who seem to have all the confidence in the world.

If I was in your situation I'd take more risks because no matter what happens I'll still have a roof over my head.

Right on :punk:

Fake it til you make it!

True, and someone told me before something similar to "if you take risks, will your failures matter 10 years from now?"

They wont!

Bravery to me is doing the right thing even when the moral choice is the hardest choice.

bah, bravery is overrated. instead just become overpowered and eccentric. Absorb knowledge like an endless sponge. Build up your skills, and prepare so that when the hard decisions come up you can shrug and go, eh I've got this.

How'd you get so wise?

You're just defining bravery but using different words :P
