  • How to Play:

I'll provide you with an answer to a question. It's your job to guess the question to the answer. Simple right?



If you get stuck, don't worry. You can buy a hint. Hints will cost you 150 Off Topix each and each person may buy 3 hints. If you wish a group of you can put some Off Topix cash together and buy a hint as a group.



A maximum of 5 hints will can be bought per answer, and all hints are displayed publicly in this thread. Once a hint has been made public, it cannot be removed and your funds cannot be refunded.



Should the question not be guessed within 4 weeks, a new answer will be posted and you can try your luck again.

  • Winning Prize:

If you guess the question correctly, you will win 1000 Off Topix cash for yourself, or if you were working as a group, it can be split amongst yourselves.

You pay for the hint. 150 Off Topix to me first, then you get the hint. That's how business works doesn't it. Pay for your goods, then you get them.

You're right. It did take 99 days to complete the first surface crossing of Antarctica, but it's not the question I'm looking for. Sorry.
 
Ferdinand Magellan's fleet accomplished the westward crossing of the ocean in 99 days, from which the ocean was named as pacific ??????
