BREAKING: Plane crashes at CarFest in Cheshire

A stunt plane has crashed during a stunt display in Cheshire.

The plane went down at the CarFest event in Oulton Park.

Witnesses described the scenes as ‘shocking’ and another onlooker said the crash ‘looked severe and very quick. I would be surprised if he managed to escape with his life.’

The CarFest event was founded by new Top Gear presenter Chris Evans, who tweeted: ‘I am very sad to announce there has been a serious air incident at CarFest North off site.’

Police have confirmed they are attending the incident.

Very tragic. I do, however, think stunt planes should be banned. There's been far too many tragic accidents.

erm.....it most definatly was not a stunt plane.............it was Folland Gnat, ex RAF training aircraft
