Have you ever brought your own music to your school? Did anyone you know do it?

I remember back in Primary (Or elementary) I used to bring my music often. But the teachers disallowed me briniging it anymore because they didn't like the music I brought (Which is weird considering it was just Linkin Park and Lostprophets most of the time) despite the fact that they played that the Cheeky Girls song... every... f***ing... day...

I never did but lots of people have some form of MP3 player and sometimes use them in class

It's more likely that you weren't allowed to bring electrical items in as other kids would be jealous and would try to take and break your items. We recommend all valuable items stay at home as they cannot be insured. One child brought in a silver necklace and ring worth over 200 pounds that his parents had bought him. They were stolen from his tray and never seen again. His parents were furious!

We're not allowed to bring iPods/mp3 players/anything electronic to school. Most people do anyways, but I don't since I'd only be able to listen to it on the bus and my bus ride isn't that long (like, a little more than five minutes - like a song and a half, or just one if it's longer...). Some people bring CDs to gym, though, to play, though it's usually terrible pop shit. lol

All they seem to play on the bus that I hear is Metallica... >.> lol

I have an iPod, which I listen to on the bus, I also listen to it when I'm bored at uni. And if I really wanted to I could listen to it during lectures. But I don't XD

Yeah, ever since I got my first ipod years ago I've brought it to school. Never been a problem unless I'd use it during class.
