Have you ever bug bomb'ed your house?

I set 4 off before I went to work today.. Had to cover all the dishes, the fish tank, ask my neighobrs to watch the cat, etc...

The cat had a major flea infestation. I had to shampoo him, I bought that advantage stuff you put on the back of their neck..

There was fleas everywhere. So I had to set off the foggers. Hopefully it gets rid of them. My legs are all bitten up.

Nope, thankfully

I took in a stray kitten once and my house was infested with fleas. My dogs and my cat were covered with them and I also had bites all over my legs. I had to take the dogs and cat to the vet to get what they call a flea dip treatment and after that they gave me oral medication for the all three of them.

I called in a professional exterminator and had to remove my dogs, cat and parrot from the house for 24 hours. All my bedding had to thrown out and replaced.

I had to get topical medication for the bites on my ankles and legs.

Information regarding fleas:

Adult fleas are not only a nuisance to humans and their pets, but can cause medical problems including flea allergy dermatitis (FAD), tapeworms, secondary skin irritations and, in extreme cases, anemia. Although bites are rarely felt, it is the resulting irritation caused by the flea salivary secretions that varies among individuals. Some may witness a severe reaction (general rash or inflammation) resulting in secondary infections caused by scratching the irritated skin area. Others may show no reaction or irritation acquired after repeated bites over several weeks or months. Most bites usually found on the ankles and legs may cause pain lasting a few minutes, hours or days depending on one's sensitivity. The typical reaction to the bite is the formation of a small, hard, red, slightly-raised (swollen) itching spot. There is a single puncture point in the center of each spot.

This whole thing was a nightmare and cost me over $300

I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy.
