Yeah, not totally unheard of I guess; but still a pretty unique situation.
You go to a big party in the desert like that and fully expect the weather to stay hot and dry.

I always liked the idea of burning man. But in practice, I think mired in muck sums it up for the past few years. To sum it up with a quote from Airplane: "they knew what they were getting into when they got on that plane..."
