Bush was the worst modern U.S. president.

It's more like this.

Politician: Let's strengthen the border.

I'm sure many people would support it, but who's going to pay to build the border? One of the biggest problems with Bush is that he wants to go to fight two-and-a-half wars, but who asked him Who's going to pay for it? The same should have been said to Obama with his Health Care Reform (though to be honest, that is the only legitimate argument against it) or to Ronald Reagan when he increased military spending by 40% even though he was elected in a platform that reduced spending (well, I guess he said in certain areas).

Let alone how stupid the war was (and how much more (R)etarded those politicians who advocated for Freedom Fries), that was Bush's main failure, but to be fair, there's a lot of people in the United States (I'm mainly staring at media people) who are more stupid than the former President.

Actually. The Lack of Common Sense in an individual has not been a liability in modern political history.

We can point to Charlie Wrangle's landslide victory in the 2010 house election as proof of that statement.

The sole exceptions may be GHW Bush's read my lips and, more recently, where Christine O'Donnell successfully torpedoed her own Senate campaign with totally inexplicable statements.
