Apple haven't even announced a release date for the iPad in New Zealand.... so it looks like I won't be buying one anytime soon.



I don't really need one anyway... can't see a purpose for it in my life.

I went to the Apple store at the mall today and I viewed Off Topix.net with it. It looked just like on my regular computer, only on a smaller screen. Pretty cool.



Still not going to buy one though.

The iPad is an alternative to a netbook not a laptop. The middle ground between a smart phone and laptop.

I cannot see any use in having one. They're not any better in terms of portability compared to a laptop, and they can't do the things a phone can do.
