Cancer Patients Most Likely to Use Medical Aid in Dying

I'd legalize MAID in the whole world and make it available to everyone who wishes to end their suffering, physical and / or psychological. As it is, forcing people with incurable conditions to life and suffer against their will just because some legislator(s) declared it as illegal is just... well, inhuman.

maybe 1 day, in the not too distant future

guess we can hope..

I don't understand why MAID is illegal anyway. What's so horribly wrong with helping someone who wants to end their suffering to end them, to find peace and salvation in death? Who gave humans the right to play god and to decide that everyone must live, even it means suffering enduring excruciating pain day & night?

To borrow a James Bond movie's title; live and let die. Forcing someone to live against their will is selfish and cruel, and hiding behind the law is also cowardly.

Forcing someone to be alive who is suffering and wants out is inhumane.
