Do you like candles?



If so, for what reason? Because they look nice or make the house smell nice?

I like candles more than normal lights, as they make a more soft light that doesn't give me headaches.

I just use them to make it smell nice in here. I could care less about the light they produce.

How about I make an observation. There is a chain of candle shops called 'Dusk'. Most of their employees and customers are female. I don't really get candles anyway; sure, they smell nice, but if you have electricity, is there really any point?

I buy candles from the grocery store or wal mart.

Electricity doesn't make the room smell nice either.

I love them Nebulous, I buy the most heavily scented ones, but its tough using them with 4 cats around.

Me too. I bought a peach scented one and it was really good smelling. Now I need some peaches.

and at Christmas my specialty candle store sells them in 'pine' scent....omg.......you think you have a real Christmas tree right there.

The Grandma's Cookies scented ones are just torture.

I like candles, mainly for the smell, but also great for blackouts

But a blackout at work really sucks because we have to turn the generator on with just a dull candle .... no-ones thought of purchasing a damned torch -.- lol
