Are you into cars?

Do you think the world would be a better place without cars?

How different do you think cars of the future will be?

What kind of car do you drive?

I am not into cars and I can't/don't drive.

Yeah, I guess I'm kinda 'into' cars. :D

It does seem like there are LOTS of cars on the road.

I'm driving a Toyota mini-van.

Are you into cars?
Not really, but some of them can be cool.

Do you think the world would be a better place without cars?
Better? Eh. I think they just need to be updated to emit less pollution.

How different do you think cars of the future will be?
Probably more technologically advanced, using different materials, probably less polluting.

What kind of car do you drive?
I drive a Mazda3!

for me a car is transportation and not something to try to impress others with. currently drive a Hyundai Tucson. previous car was a 2004 Hyundai Sante Fe. it had close to 200,000 miles on it when i was rear-ended at a dead stop.

I have a nice enough car that is only a couple years old. Did I get it to impress anyone? No, I just got it so I wouldn't have to worry about breaking down somewhere.

All electric.

All electric.
have a feeling all-electric transportation still has decades of worked needed before glitches are no longer the norm. same with self-driving cars.

Are you into cars? No.

Do you think the world would be a better place without cars? With its current infrastructure, no.

How different do you think cars of the future will be? Self-driving technology may finally be ready for prime time… but the look, feel of cars has been homogenized for some time. A Tesla looks like a Maserati looks like a Kia…

What kind of car do you drive? We have a Mazda CX-9, a 2001 Jeep Cherokee, and a Volvo C30.

Meh.

Agreed!

Why so many cars?

scientists should be working on teleportation! Jetson's style flying vehicles won't work. it would be collisions fallaing put of the sky every minute... caused by people not paying attention.

imagine pushing a few buttons in your home and... ZOOM... you're at the supermarket. another couple of buttomns pushed and you and your purchases are home.

there's a house not far from me that has one of those "dr who" British phone booth thingies in its back yard... painted a nice fuscia color.

Yes that would be cool! I'd be too afraid to use it if they did invent teleportation though. I would imagine the early users would end up with cancer or something using a teleportation device. #Paranoid

Or particles of YOU ending up in different places.

i love driving, so my answer is no!

but driving EV cars is very enjoyable and exciting experenice haha

My car is a 16 year old Nissan Note. Happens that it went in for its MOT (annual roadworthy examination) today - which it passed ok.
The reason for keeping it so long is that missus bat has mobility issues and its one of the few cars she can in and out of without too much difficulty.

Britain is supposed to go to all new cars being electric in 2032 but I can't see there being enough charging infrastructure by then so my reckoning is that date will be pushed further down the road.

They're trying to do that here too.
